First of all, I should apology myself for writing this post in english...mais mon français n’est pas bon encore...but I thougth this was an interesting thing to share with you, so, there it is.
If brands ever tought they were condemned to accept their ad agencies’ timings and bureucracies they were wrong. Well, brands are made of people, not corporatives. So if we want to believe in the power of the people, then there’s BootB.
BootB (
www.bootb.com) it’s a new way to conceive creativity for brands without the intevention of any account director inside a huge advertising agency... no associate creative directors, no thousands of client’s phonecalls asking to stop because they change their minds again about the brief...(if they ever have a brief at all)...not any boring and tedious process we are used to in most of today’s ad agencies.
Just a brand need, a brief, a deadline and YOUR creativity...that’s right. Even simplier: you think, you work, brand decide, brand pay...revolutionary it seems.
At least that’s what people at BootB believes, to shorten the chain of desitions over an idea in order to improve efficiency. At that is BootB’s bet. Maybe influenced in the way internet 2.0 has change participation of user (youtube, facebook, blogs and counting...) these guys manage themselves to make accesible to us all, (and that’s all the world), briefs that once belonged to agencies so almost any given citizen of the world- with internet access, that’s for sure- can work in them without intervention of anyone else.
They’re building a wide network of creatives, free from all creative monarchy wich is getting tired of rewarding itself. Maybe this effort can change the way we conceive work flow inside agencies, maybe it is just an illusion, it’s still unsure. In the meantime more and more power is been given to common people over the internet, just as this very community, so while we still have it, let’s use it!.... don't you thing?Anyway, if you want to try how it’s to create for a brand by yourself (be aware of all its risks by the other hand), there is bootb. Shall the ad agencies be affraid?
